Social Justice Clip Art for Diversity and Inclusion

Why is Teaching about Diversity and Inclusion Important?

Teaching about diversity and inclusion in elementary classrooms is vital for creating a healthy and inviting classroom environment. In recent years, teachers have been teaching a more honest approach toward history and have been celebrating differences, not trying to  cover them up or avoid the subject. Teaching kids about the world they live in and the different people and views can open up a wide variety of ideas for students. Many resources and books teaching about diversity and inclusion have been banned from schools entirely, and I believe it’s our job to equipt young learners with the skills our world needs to make a change.
